During the Storytellers of Apple TV Plus panel during SDCC 2022 earlier today, we were given the first look at the final season of See. Showrunner and executive producer Jonathan Tropper sat on the panel and talked about the upcoming season before sharing the trailer with attendees. The series is a post-apocalyptic Apple Original that stars Jason Momoa. It is set in a future none of us hope to see where all of humankind has lost the ability to see.
The third season of See picks up almost a year after Baba Voss (Momoa) has defeated his nemesis brother Edo and left his family to live remotely in the forest. However, Baba’s forced separation is cut short when he learns of a Trivantian scientist who has been developing a new and devastating form of sighted weaponry. And, of course, this weapon will threaten the future of humanity as a whole. Now Baba must return to Paya to protect his tribe once more.

The trailer gives us bits and pieces of how the story will progress through the final season. It’s full of hope, fear, determination and gritty action. It feels like the perfect ending to this epic adventure. See has been honored for its inclusivity and representation of the visually impaired and features cast and crew who are blind or have low vision. Alongside Momoa, season three will also star Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe and Nesta Cooper. Tom Mison, Olivia Cheng, Eden Epstein, Michael Raymond-James, David Hewlett and Trieste Kelly Dunn round out the cast.
