Netflix and Kevin Smith‘s Masters of the Universe: Revelation has officially kicked off today and we are rolling with into a panel at SDCC 2021. The panel, hosted by Kevin, included Chris Wood (Prince Adam/He-Man), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Teela), Tiffany Smith (Andra), Tony Todd (Scare Glow) and more special guests. The series is a continuation of the iconic series we know and love. But Kevin and the team have given it a massive glow-up to bring it into the current century.

DISCLAIMER: The panel does contain spoilers for the first part of season one, so tread carefully! If you’ve watched and just need an update – check out our recaps!

The Masters of the Universe: Revelation panel really dives into how excited everyone was during the show’s creation and shares clips from the first five episodes. Sarah shared how she watched part one with her kids and what a beautiful experience it was. And I would have to agree with one of them. Tony’s Scare Glow is one of my favorite parts of episode four. We even got the chance to hear from Alan Oppenheimer and Mark Hamill on how they found their Skeletor voices in both series.

The end of the Masters of the Universe: Revelation panel dove into the toy side of the franchise. We all know that the original series was created as a way to help sell Mattell toys. And now, we got the chance to see what the new ones will look like. Including the massive and terrifyingly epic-looking Skelegod. Excuse me while I head over and purchase this right away. Kevin’s final note is that we are going to be seeing everyone return for the second half, but not when it will happen.

I highly suggest checking out the full panel for yourself and geek out with them. Part one of Masters of the Universe: Revelation is available to binge now on Netflix. Seriously, what are you waiting for!
