Hello Ghosts! Amazon Prime is bringing the paranormal to the forefront in the new series Truth Seekers. The comedy stars Nick Frost and Simon Pegg as part-time paranormal investigators. The first teaser and poster was released during the Truth Seekers Comic-Con At Home panel.
The show description reads, “Truth Seekers is a supernatural comedy series about a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see. However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race.”

The trailer starts out pretty ominous with Frost narrating: “Can you feel it? Ancient magic resides all around us. Ours is not the only universe. There are realms beyond it. Underneath it, a myriad of parallel dimensions.” Later, Frost says they are on the cusp of something. A gateway between worlds. Do they really want to find that gateway?
Truth Seekers stars Frost, Pegg, Samson Kayo, Malcolm McDowell, Emma D’Arcy and Susan Wokoma. The series has eight episodes and should premiere this fall. You can watch the Truth Seekers Comic-Con At Home Panel on the SDCC website. Check out the poster and teaser below.
