John Slattery in a scene from “NEXT,” premiering this fall on FOX

We’re getting another first look at the new series NEXT ahead of it’s second SDCC 2020 panel. FOX released a second trailer for NEXT and announced the A.I. series is heading to FOX this fall.

FOX ordered the series in May of 2019 and held it over for the Fall 2020 TV lineup. Mad Men alum John Slattery stars as a Silicon Valley pioneer, Paul LeBlanc, who discovers that one of his own creations – a powerful A.I. – might spell global catastrophe. He tries to shut down the A.I. only to be ousted from his company by his brother Ted, played by Jason Butler Harner. LeBlanc teams up with Special Agent Shea Salazar (Fernanda Andrade) to stop the A.I., which calls itself NEXT.

NEXT also stars Michael Mosley, Eve Harlow, Aaron Moten, Gerardo Celasco, Elizabeth Cappuccino and Evan Whitten. Manny Coto is the showrunner and executive producer with directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.
