SDCC 2019: WATCHMEN Unleashes Chaos in Debut Comic-Con Trailer

Today HBO unveiled their latest project sure to grab the attention of everyone. Watchmen released it’s debut trailer at SDCC 2019 and it’s filled to the brim with secrets, mysteries, blood and so, so many masks.

The world has been living with masked vigilantes for decades now. The original Watchmen have come and gone but humanity has been reeling from the effects. One such group has taken it to the extreme, wearing Rorschach masks and targeting police officers. Now the police are wearing masks. However, something is bubbling under the surface. Tensions will continue to rise as humanity battles it out against each other. …Did we mention that Doctor Manhattan is on Mars?

This trailer was the first look at reinvented series and it looks pretty good! Showrunner Damon Lindelof had an extraordinary task of making this series completely new while keeping it faithful to the graphic novels by Alan Moore. How do you think it’s turning out so far?
