CBS All Access has been granting all the wishes for Trekkies recently. We’ve had two great seasons of Star Trek: Discovery and a wonderful first season of Short Treks. On the horizon is the much anticipated Star Trek: Picard series helmed by Michael Chabon and the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks. So, what’s a Star Trek franchise to do to further indulge fans ? Head to Hall H at San Diego Comic Con for not one, not two but for three series!
The Star Trek Universe will have back to back panels in Hall H featuring the series’ stars, producers and writers including Sonequa Martin-Green and Patrick Stewart. Tig Natoro, who had an amazing run as Chief Engineer Reno on the second season of Discovery, will be moderating that series’ panel. No word on who is moderating the other ones.
These panels are sure to be full of announcements, surprise guests and footage. There will also be Star Trek events throughout the con including a Transporter Experience and cast meet & greets on the exhibit floor. And for the nostalgic fan, there is a Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty exhibit where props, costumes and artifacts from Picard’s career including “all that remains of the Borg Queen”.
