IT: Chapter Two kicked off San Diego Comic Con 2019 with a brand new trailer on Wednesday night. The trailer is now officially and frightfully available to the public.

The film is the sequel to 2017’s It, based on the classic Stephen King novel.  The story is about a group of friends, The Losers’ Club, who encounter an evil clown, Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård). He is actually a supernatural being that appears in Derry, ME every 27 years to feed on children’s fears.  The kids return as adults to finished the fight once and for all.

The trailer features Pennywise at his best.  He’s been waiting 27 years to get revenge on the Losers Club.  He has dreamed of them, craved them…he missed them. Now he’s ready to end them.  There’s lots of blood, a fun house that appears to be full of clowns and even a little romance.  We may even see the origin story of Pennywise.  It looks like a real head trip.

I’m beyond excited to see what director Andy Muschietti has in store for us in this sequel. The first one was creepy, but I don’t think anyone is prepared for a darker, more sadistic Clown.

It: Chapter Two stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, Isaiah Mustafa, Andy Bean, Jaeden Martell, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, and Wyatt Oleff.
