Amazon Prime is making it’s return to San Diego Comic Con with a few friend’s in toe. The streaming service will be showcasing the latest in their television series, including new shows such as The Boys and Carnival Row, according to Deadline.
Kicking off the event, Amazon is bringing their “genre-bending” animated series Undone to the convention. From the creators of BoJack Horseman, the series will highlight an emotional journey of a woman (voiced by Rosa Salazar) who tries to solve the mystery of her father’s death by unlocking her past. Amazon will be giving fans a better look at the series in the Indigo Ballroom.
Executive producers Seth Rogen and Eric Kripke are bringing The Boys out to play at SDCC. Along with the cast, fans will be able to get a sneak peak at the submersive superhero series set to debut in late July. Fans at the event will be able to head over to the Amazon Prime Video Experience where they’re bringing not one but two episodes with them so you won’t want to miss it. Likewise, Carnival Row will be making it’s SDCC debut with stars Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne scheduled to sit on the panel. Fans will get to learn about the forbidden romance between man and fae.
Amazon is also bringing back fan favorites, The Expanse and Man in the High Castle. Sci-fi series The Expanse will be settling to their new home at Prime with a panel highlighting the upcoming fourth season with stars and executive producers. Meanwhile Man in the High Castle will be saying goodbye as they talk about the fourth and final season of the series set in an alternative future.
The Amazon Prime Video Experience will be open Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21 (with a special preview day open to press on Wednesday, July 17). The experience will feature 40-foot screens playing scenes from the upcoming series. It will also include professional portrait photography studio set-up for cosplayers as well as Carl’s Jr., for those hungry for some burgers. The 60,000 foot interactive space will be located on the corner of MLK and 1st in San Diego.
Check out the full panel schedule below. What are you most looking forward to? Are you as disappointed as I am that there’s no The Lord of the Rings coming? Be sure to come back to Geek Girl Authority for more SDCC fun.

Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, and Elisabeth Shue, with moderator Aisha Tyler, for a behind the scenes look at their upcoming series. Based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes – who are as popular as celebrities – abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super-powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven. The series premieres July 26 on Amazon Prime Video.
Ballroom 20, San Diego Convention Center, 3 :30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. PT
Carnival Row: Join stars Orlando Bloom, Cara Delevingne, David Gyasi, Tamzin Merchant and executive producers Travis Beacham and Marc Guggenheim for a sneak peek and conversation about Carnival Row, moderated by Tim Kash. Set in a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures whose exotic homelands were invaded by the empires of man, Amazon Prime Video’s Carnival Row explores how this growing population struggles to coexist with humans — forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. But even in darkness, hope lives, as a human detective, Rycroft Philostrate (Orlando Bloom), and a refugee faerie named Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevingne) rekindle a dangerous affair despite an increasingly intolerant society.
