The Arrowverse is actually heading to Gotham! In an epic new teaser released by CW during SDCC, the crossover event is gonna be bigger than anything before it. For one, it’s adding Black Lightning to the lineup. Finally. Additionally, they’re teasing the appearance of a new caped vigilante, Batwoman.
The character jump out from the page as the footage from Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Black Lightning and Legends of Tomorrow flash across the scene. While we have more heroes, that means there’s going to be a lot more villains. Including a return from Gorilla Grodd. Always fun to have him around. The heroes are in major trouble as a voice over tells us they have a new weapon that can effect other worlds, even destroying them. But it’s not all bleak as we have a nice nod to Batman before talking about a member of his Bat family. At a bar, some of our friends from Supergirl discuss Batwoman. Kara puts it best. “Tons of gadgets, lots of demons. Vigilantes are nuts!” But is nuts what they need right now?

This December, the massive crossover event will introduce Kate Kane to the Arrowverse. Now if all things go according to plan, she’ll also be getting her own TV show. But at least we’ll be getting a live-action Batwoman we can ooh and ahh over if the show doesn’t go to pilot. Which it probably will. Assuming they’ve cast the role already, hopefully we’ll be getting the casting announced during Arrowverse panels tomorrow! Keep your fingers crossed cause I’m so ready to meet her!
