When you think of SDCC, it pretty much goes hand in hand with SyFy, right? This year, it’s no different. And while NerdHQ still isn’t happening, SyFy will be there to keep the party going. Not only will they be bringing many of their great shows, they’ll also be hosting competitions, dance parties, and more! 

For those into the panels, SyFy has their prescene known during 3 out of the 4 days of the con. This includes fan favorites like Wynonna Earp, Krypton, and The Magicians! Each panel is currently set to host many of the stars of the show and with upcoming debuts, we’re looking forward to the goodies they intend to share. Also be ready to say goodbye to the bizzarely popular Sharknado series! They also have some discussion panels like SYFY WIRE FANGRRLS: Women Changing the Game, highlighting the awesome female fans of sci-fi.

As for the other activities going on, fans can head to the New Children’s Museum Thursday through Saturday to get limited edition exclusive merch. One of which features “an original, custom genre-themed design by a famed artist”. How exciting! You can also head to the New Children’s Museum Friday and Saturday night (with an RSVP) at 9pm for epic dance parties! And if that wasn’t enough, Orlando Jones will be back, bringing his drumline to Gaslamp. Additionally, he’ll be going around passing out Fan Creator Award medals, so bring out your best cosplay!

NIGHTFLYERS

San Diego Comic-Con to give fans an exclusive first-look at what’s in store for the upcoming third

Presented by The Asylum, be the first to witness a whole new evolution in zombie-kind as the cast and
creators of SYFY’s hit series reveal exclusive details of what they have planned for the 5th season.

SYFY WIRE FANGRRLS: WOMEN CHANGING THE GAME

The landscape of sci-fi has changed — and we’re never going back. Women aren’t just making some of
the best, most groundbreaking work found in the genre today, they’re also redefining what it means to
be a fan. Come geek out with our panelists and moderator Cher Martinetti (SYFY WIRE Fangrrls’
Managing Editor) as they chat about their current obsessions and discuss how they’re blazing their own

THE LAST SHARKNADO: IT’S ABOUT TIME

Presented by The Asylum, for the LAST TIME EVER, Comic-Con will be home to a SHARKNADO panel. Go
shark to the future with the cast of the FINAL installment in SYFY’s fin-tactic movie franchise.
