Star Wars will be coming to SDCC 2018! While the films won’t be having their own panels, the popular franchise will have their presence known in a big way. An anniversary will be celebrated, merchandise will be exclusive, and you’ll get to fly in the Millennium freaking Falcon! How cool is that? While you can’t really fly it away, they will let you sit in it. Here’s the details we have.
Did I say you’ll get to sit in the Falcon? What I really mean is that you’ll actually be able to walk inside the entire ship, complete with Lando capes and everything. The Millennium Falcon Experience will be giving away free tickets on Wednesday while selling them Thursday – Sunday. In addition to the Falcon, you’ll also be able to look at 6 character costumes from Solo: A Star Wars Story including Dryden Vos, Qi’ra, and Enfys Nest. And of course the big ticket event (outside of the Falcon tour) is the 10 year anniversary panel of The Clone Wars. Series creator Dave Filoni will be there among a few stars from the show.

There’s also a lot of fun things they’re doing like selling Kenner action figure inspired pins. There will be a Star Wars fashion panel – fingers crossed for an Ashley Eckstein appearance. And of course all of their merchandise is great. But I do have to say I’m incredibly jealous of the Falcon tour. That is just way too cool to pass up!

Members of the Hasbro and Lucasfilm teams will discuss the popular Hasbro Star Wars line. Attendees will get an in-depth look at Hasbro’s latest action figure offerings. Word on the Holonet is there may also be a few surprises.
