Never fear, friends, Star Trek: Discovery will be there! And they’re coming in style, too. The prequel series will be beaming their way to Hall H this year, much to the happiness of fans. But that’s certainly not all. And now knowing that season 2 has been in production since April, they’re sure to bring a lot of goodies!
But what do we know so far? Well, they have a full cast list, even bringing newcomers. Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Shazad Latif, Mary Wiseman, Anthony Rapp, Mary Chieffo, Wilson Cruz and Anson Mount will be there along with executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin. Kurtzman was just recently announced as sole showrunner of the show so we’re very excited to hear what he has to say.

CBS also plans on bringing something for fans who can’t make it into the convention center. Star Trek: Discovery Mirror Universe Gallery Takeover will give fans a look at props and costumes from the series. But that’s not all! Fans will have an opportunity to pose on Emperor Georgiou’s Throne. So get your best regal face on! And of course an official shop with SDCC exclusives will be available. Be sure to visit them at the Michael J. Wolf Fine Arts Gallery (363 Fifth Avenue) Thursday – Sunday.
If that wasn’t enough, anyone in the Gaslamp area will have access to free pedicabs. Intergalactic pedicabs that is! They sure know how to represent, even if you can’t make it to the con.
