Powerhouse Marvel is bringing a few TV shows to SDCC this year. Just a few though. Newcomers Cloak & Dagger will be having their own panel but Runaways has been shafted this year. In fact, there’s only one Netflix series coming to the convention this year. What gives?
Those excited to see more of Iron Fist will be happy to know it’s the one Netflix show that made it. Marvel will also be bringing Marvel Rising, a new animated series featuring Quake from Agents of SHIELD. Speaking of those SHIELD agents, they won’t be coming though they will be by to sign autographs.
RELATED: Catch up on our recaps of CLOAK & DAGGER!
I think it’s rather surprising how “little” they’re bringing. While we just got Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, it still would’ve been nice to see more from New York’s Defenders. I’m also surprised we’re getting nothing from Runaways! But! We’re sure to get a few new looks at the new series so it’s not all bad.
Check out the full schedule below and let us know what you think! What are you most looking forward to? Be sure to come back to Geek Girl Authority for more SDCC 2018 news!
