Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con was occupied by one last panel on Sunday. The cast and crew of FX’s Legion took the stage to delight fans with wit, candor and t-shirts. Fans came in with anticipation of news, as there hadn’t been any information since the end of season two. They got some of what they were looking for.
The panel included stars Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, Rachel Keller, Bill Irwin, Jeremie Harris, Amber Midthunder, and Navid Negahban, as well as writer Nathaniel Halpern and producers. Creator Noah Hawley was absent from the panel.
The first topic of the day was dance. The famous dance sequences are still in play in season three, according to Halpern “if needed”. Plaza talked of having nightmares trying to get them right in season two, and Dan Stevens gave Bill Irwin all of the credit.
“It was all brought together by Bill Irwin, one of the best dancers in America. In the world!”—Dan Stevens credits the true hero of the dance sequences #LegionFX

Then talk turned toward season three. The actors talked about what they wish for their characters in season three. Stevens talked about the strength of the love story between Syd and David. Irwin and Midthunder discussed the bond between Kerry and Cary. And, Lenny, of course, was a topic of conversation. Stevens had this to say…
“I know Lenny is going to have a part to play in it. We’re off together in some form. I guess Syd’s a bit mad?”—Dan Stevens on #LegionFX season three

Rachel Keller wants to see Syd tackle something as big as being the hero, but she’d also like to see what she does if she fails. #LegionFX #FXSDCC

But, none of the actors had much to say about what they know. They aren’t told!
Dan Stevens is desperate for season three scoop, too. “This is how I get information about Legion, by the way. Just coming to Comic-Con and listening to the panel.” #LegionFX #FXSDCC
