Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger season one is currently in progress. The story of two teenagers bound by tragedy and fate. There are only a couple episodes left in season one. Up until now, our heroes have barely learned to control their powers, much less found common ground to work together. So what’s in store for the future of Cloak & Dagger? How about another season for starters?
The Panel: Olivia Holt, Aubrey Joseph, Emma Lahana, Ally Maki, Joe Pokaski and moderator Joseph Loeb
Loeb played with the audience a little, saying he hoped there would be a season two. Then he introduced the cast.
Lahana and Maki talked a little about the characters. Detective O’Reilly is in the comics. So Lahana studied the comic to make sure she knew her character well. Maki is playing a new character to Cloak & Dagger. She says it’s a dream come true to play an original character as an Asian-American actress.
Loeb talks about the chemistry between Joseph and Holt, saying you can’t manufacture it. Joseph and Holt auditioned together and they both knew instantly that they should get the parts. The crazy thing is, Tandy and Tyrone were cast just days before shooting the first scene. Pokaski says that the producers got “Spider-Man hairs” on their arms when they saw these two together.

Fans got two videos, one that recapped the show. And the second was a blooper reel.
A fan asked which Marvel characters the cast would like to see make an appearance on the show. Joseph wants Luke Cage, Holt said Jessica Jones, Lahana picked Misty Knight, and Maki chose Quake/Daisy Johnson to appear. (Chloe Bennet used to be Maki’s roommate.)
A fan asked when we would see Dagger suited up, but Pokaski coyly said he wasn’t ready to answer that question. What?
And question on everyone’s mind…what is Cloak & Dagger’s relationship to the events of Avengers: Infinity War? Loeb took that question:
“The stories that you’re seeing, unless otherwise noted, take place before the Thanos snap. They will continue to take place then until the events of Avengers 4 and we find out what happens. There are Easter eggs and it is a shared universe.”
Throughout the panel, Loeb teased that season two was a possibility, never confirming. It was at the end of the panel that Pokaski said he got a text confirming season 2. A poster was revealed with the announcement
