Art the Clown sneers in Terrifer

According to a recent exclusive from Deadline, Screambox, a horror streaming service, has teamed up with horror media brand Bloody Disgusting to acquire the North American rights to Terrifier 2. The gory film is already complete and will grace our screens this Halloween season.

Here is what we know, so far, about the sequel to the cult classic horror film Terrifier. The new film will once again feature the horrific killer, known as Art the Clown. David Howard Thornton is back as Art to provide more chilling scares. Terrifier 2 is from writer-director Damien Leone.

In the original film, Art met his demise; however, evil forces grant the killer new life to take up where he left off, killing and causing chaos. Halloween night rolls around, and Art returns to the same quiet town he previously terrorized. This time, he set his sights on new targets.

Terrifier 2 marks the fifth appearance of the character Art the Clown. The demonic character first appeared in two low-budget horror shorts that were full of blood and gore. Later, he made his feature-length debut in Leone’s All Hallows’ Eve.

Another returning cast member is Samantha Scaffidi, aka Victoria Heyes. A new character, Sienna, played by Lauren LaVera, joined in the terror. Additionally, horror fans will recognize Felissa Rose in this film.

After its Halloween season release in the states, Terrifier 2 will stream exclusively on Screambox.
