To Tame a Fire WEBTOON Original Series.

We are kicking this week off with Hilluhri‘s To Tame a Fire. The supernatural WEBTOON follows Ray, the daughter of two war criminals. She has been ostracized and hated by many because of her roots. After encountering an infamous commander, Ray suddenly finds herself in situations that put her morals to the test. Will she come out on top, or will she find the phantoms of her parents’ legacy slowly become her own?

I know we are in spooky season, but we couldn’t ignore the supernatural stories that are perfect for this time of year. This is what drew me to To Tame a Fire, and folx, I couldn’t be happier. The magic-like system Hulluhri created is fun to explore, and watching Ray dive further into it is so satisfying. It’s a perfect series for those looking for a supernatural story that isn’t overly scary.

Time and Time Again

Time and Time Again WEBTOON Original Series.

Our second series this week is Deo I.’s Time and Time Again. Every full moon, Steve is forced to time travel. Add in the fact that he happens to be a rambunctious werewolf. Add in Adam, a vampire agent, who is sent to keep tabs on Steve and ensure he doesn’t destroy the whole universe. The two try to make sure nothing goes wrong, but despite their best efforts, they find themselves in mortal danger.

Time. Traveling. Werewolf. That’s it. That’s the post. Okay, so that isn’t the whole thing. But it is a big reason I found myself reading Time and Time Again. Similar to To Tame a Fire, this series’s supernatural and magical elements are outstanding. The first chapter alone is stunning and gives us a peek into what we can expect to see as the story continues. This series is a must-read even after the spooky season comes to a close.
