Sword Interval

Fall driving in her car towards the giant boneyard in Sword Interval.

Sword Interval WEBTOON Original Series.

We’ve had a craving for a supernatural story this past week, which has brought us to Benjamin Fleuter’s Sword Interval. The series is about a world on the verge of an apocalypse where most of the world is trying to ignore the constant threat of magic and monsters while a few face those dangers head-on. Fall just so happens to be one of those people. She has left behind the comfort and safety of a sheltered life in order to hunt down the monster that killed her family.

We know it isn’t spooky season, but sometimes we need a good supernatural WEBTOON. And Sword Interval gives us that and so much more. It’s a post-apocalyptic epic journey with terrific world-building and beautiful character development. The more we dove into this story, the more we knew we wouldn’t be able to put it down until the very end. We dare anyone not to read this entire series in one sitting.

Sword Interval is complete and can be read here!

Ghost Theater

Rahee waking up in the hospital after her accident in Ghost Theater

Ghost Theater WEBTOON Original Series.

The second series of the week follows in the vein of spooky and supernatural. LICO‘s Ghost Theater follows the talented actress Rahee Ku. After the shock of a tragic accident, she is unable to make facial expressions. And how can an actress expect to ever find work like that? Everything seems hopeless for Rahee until she discovers the mysterious Ghost Theater. Will they be able to help her? Or is something else going on that she needs to be worried about?

Sometimes the world shatters around you, and things fall apart. We’ve all had a moment like this; some just happen to be worse than others. And Ghost Theater takes this idea and spins it on its head with a supernatural twist. The concept that Rahee can’t change her facial expression is one thing, but throw in the mysterious theater and drama that follows, and this story is one you have to read.

Ghost Theater is completed and can be read here!
