We are kicking this week off with Purpah‘s fantasy Webtoon Suitor Armor. Lucia thought getting through the upcoming royal wedding wouldn’t be the toughest part of her life. As the lady-in-waiting and adopted sibling to the future queen Kirsi, Lucia has a lot on her plate. But things change when she finds herself falling head over heels with Modeus, a rising knight in the king’s guard. After learning that Modeus is an enchanted soul in a suit of armor, Lucia finds herself fully invested in the mysteries of the kingdom.

Suitor Armor may still be in it’s first few weeks, but it has me completely enthralled. Within the first few chapters, we are introduced to so many different mysteries and the relationships between characters. Like how does Modeus move around? What power controls him? What secret is Lucia hiding? There is so much we need to know and it will be a treat watching these characters grow together! Purpah has done a fantastic job laying out the groundwork for a truly memorable fantasy tale.

Ohkates Empyrea is truly a Webtoon gem. For centuries, 12 guardians and their Knights have protected the realm of Mankind. Their enemy, the Keres, are ancient creatures with a thirst for souls. Up until now, there has been peace among the realms. However, a series of sudden and brutal attacks threaten this fragile peace. Now Hawk, a Knight who bows to no one, and Kira, a young inventor, find themselves through into the middle of this storm. Can they navigate the decadent courts of intrigue and deceit?

Empyrea has everything I want in a Webtoon. The world Ohkates has crafted is a mix of fantasy and Steampunk. There are Knights, realms and royal families alongside mechanical compansions, motorbikes and even Kira is an inventor. It has been truly a treasure watching how the characters interact and grow with each other as the story progresses. But it isn’t all rainbows and clear skies though. There is something sinister going on that has us on the edge of our seats.
