Good morning fellow Webtoon readers and welcome to this week’s installment of Saturday Morning Webtoons! This is where we shine a light on two Webtoons we are thoroughly enjoying. These stories have had us captivated chapter after chapter each week and we couldn’t pass up sharing them with you! So grab your favorite snacks, an electronic device and settle into these sensational stories.

I absolutely love the idea of random people all being interconnected in that “six degrees to Kevin Bacon” style. And Puik‘s SEIS gives me those exact vibes! It follows six seemingly random people who all are connected to each other way one or another. But it is far more than that. The series also focuses on their individual stories like growing up, love, chasing your dreams, how much adulting can really suck sometimes and so much more. But it’s important to lean on those around you for help and support in some of the most trying times.
SEIS is one of those slice-of-life Webtoon series that just make you all warm and fuzzy inside. Each chapter is told from a specific character’s POV and the opening will always let you know who that is. I don’t suggest skipping around to follow your favorite since the stories are intertwined in the funniest and sometimes weirdest ways. It will have you chuckling and uttering the words, ‘small world’ over and over again! And not to spoil too much, but this is a great Webtoon to read to celebrate Pride Month!
SEIS updates twice a month and can be read here!
To continue the Pride Month celebration, I needed to talk about Acception! From the mind of Colourbee comes a story for people who have struggled to fit in, find love or thought that having to go to High School was the worst thing ever invented. It follows the story of Arcus, who loves his rainbow-colored hair and fashion style. He is an upbeat kid and independent thinker with a style all his own, just looking for a few friends to call his own and accept him. It is the perfect reminder to everyone that it’s okay to be different.
And different we all are! Like Colourbee says in her description of the Webtoon, this story isn’t just Arcus’. I challenge anyone to read this and not find a bit of themselves within this story. What I truly love about Acception is that while it remains a light-hearted heart-warming Webtoon, it doesn’t shy away from showing and talking about the issues people deal with. And at times, it can be uncomfortable to watch how Arcus is treated and it should be because no one should be treated that way. The representation here is beautiful and everyone should read it.
Acception updates every Tuesday and Friday and can be read here!
