Let summer go and swing into fall with some romance WEBTOON series this weekend. This week’s first recommendation is JoHo and Mr. E‘s Love on Target. This romantic comedy follows Rektus, a super-secret and super-tough assassination syndicate member. He is about to head out on his first mission, to kill the daughter of the wealthiest man in the country. He has spent his entire life planning for this moment. The only problem is he never expected to fall in love with his target.

Ah, the struggles of love. But what could be worse than actually having a job that requires you to kill the one you love? Love on Target is hands down one of the best romantic comedies on WEBTOON at the moment, and we spent an entire night getting ourselves all caught up. But don’t let the idea that this is a romantic comedy make you forget that this series packs some action in its chapters. Rektus is an assassin, after all. We promise that just a few chapters will have you hooked for the long haul.

FLOAT

Our second series is Kate Marchant and CJ Joanquin‘s FLOAT. The series follows Waverly as she heads to Florida to avoid her parents’ bitter divorce. Already a fish out of water in her own world, she is even farther out of her comfort zone in hot and sunny Florida. Then the worst thing happens. Blake, the hot, arrogant boy next door, uncovers her secret – she can’t swim. But this bad boy surprises her by offering to teach her inside of laugh.

Remember those cheesy teen romance stories about the bad boy next door with a heart of gold? FLOAT takes those and dials it up. The series is fun and light-hearted and will have you swooning. And while it is majorly romantic, there is just enough slice-of-life and drama to spice it up. It’s easy to spend the entire afternoon falling head over heels for Waverly, and Blake isn’t so bad, either. And anyone who has had to start over in a new place will find something to love within this WEBTOON series.
