How to Love

The love-monster telling their love-interest how obsessed they are.

How to Love WEBTOON Original Series.

While we love WEBTOON series that take us on adventures through epic worlds, sometimes the ones that give us something sweet are exactly what we need. This is why this week, we are talking about two heartwarming slice-of-life series. The first series is Dorris McComicsHow to Love. If you have ever felt overwhelmed by those big feelings in your life, this is the series for you. McComics’ describes the series as “a heart-warming, heart-cooking, heart-eating, heart-digesting guide to love.”

Love is messy; sometimes, we tend to hide behind the tropes within media. But How to Love isn’t your typical WEBTOON series. It is more like a “how-to” on feelings. Now, this isn’t like those self-help books that take themselves very seriously and use all the typical things we’ve been hearing our whole lives. But what really shines is when you get to the one chapter that really resonates with you, and instantly, this series becomes the thing you’ve needed all your life.

Just Ask Yuli

Darius learning that he is God.

Just Ask Yuli WEBTOON Original Series.

Our second WEBTOON series this week is Yulius Efferven‘s Just Ask Yuli. In this series, Darius returns home to learn the greatest secret in the universe. If you’ve ever wanted to know the answers – just ask. All you have to do is take part in a bit of banter between God and the Creator. Just don’t expect them to be on the same page all the time or really forthcoming with the truth. Just stick around for the fun.

We’ll be the first to admit that we put Just Ask Yuli on the back burner for quite a while. It just never felt like the right time to dive into the series. Is it ever a really good time to have a possible existential crisis? But we took the dive, and we couldn’t be more thankful. Similar to How to Love, this series doesn’t take itself too seriously, but it does spark conversations we didn’t know we were ready to have.
