Good morning fellow WEBTOON readers and welcome to this week’s installment of Saturday Morning Webtoons! This is where we shine a light on two WEBTOONs we are thoroughly enjoying. These stories have had us captivated chapter after chapter each week and we couldn’t pass up sharing them with you! So grab your favorite snacks, an electronic device and settle into these sensational stories.

Duality Reigns
If you are anything like us, you are still reeling over season two of Bridgerton. And in the spirit of that tension-packed season, this week’s WEBTOON series are going to be all about enemies to lovers. First, we have Debinish‘s Duality Reigns! The story follows Darcey, an ordinary girl trapped in a war between two opposite species. When she is forced to leave her home, she discovers a whole world full of magic, strange animal folk and danger. Tons of danger. Darcey finds herself at the mercy of a cold and mysterious regent and she begins to uncover the truth about him and her mysterious past.
There is just something to love about a grumpy lead and Lord Bayde fits the bill. Plus, the banter between Darcey and Lord Bayde is too good to ignore. But outside of this trope, the worldbuilding in Duality Reigns is terrific. Debinish gives us a fantasy world with many different races, magic, war and tons of mystery. The side characters themselves are entirely worth investing your time, love and support. Really, there is more than enough stuff to fall in love with outside of the central romance plotline. It’s a perfect read if you love fantasy mixed with your romance.

Match Made in Hell
Our second WEBTOON series this week is Keitalia‘s Match Made in Hell! Kylie decided to become a tough girl after watching her sister suffer for being too nice. But she finally met her match when they moved right before her freshman year of high school and met Tristan. Jump forward a few years, and Kylie is sure Tristan is up to no good when he asks her to the Valentine’s Day dance. But nothing could prepare her for the figure from her past showing up and disrupting the feuding frenemies. Kylie has a lot to focus on during her senior year, but even through all of that stuff, will sparks fly, or will they stay a match made in hell?
For the record, we want shirts that say “eww feelings” on them. Match Made in Hell is downright hysterical. The series falls into a more frenemies-to-lovers trope, but the verbal sparring between Kylie and Tristan is perfect. This is one journey you are going to want to take. And to help make it ten times better, Keitalia’s art style and over-the-top use of facial expressions are everything we needed. There is just something about a story that can tug on your heartstrings one moment and have you snort water out of your nose the next. Honestly, just stop everything you are doing right now and join us … we mean read the series.
