We’re back! Good morning fellow Webtoon readers and welcome to this week’s installment of Saturday Morning Webtoons! This is where we shine a light on two Webtoons we are thoroughly enjoying. These stories have had us captivated chapter after chapter each week and we couldn’t pass up sharing them with you! So grab your favorite snacks, an electronic device and settle into these sensational stories.
DISCLAIMER: The following posts have possible spoilers for Corvid’s Eye and The Faylynn Revolution.
In HopeHjort‘s Corvid’s Eye, Ike awakes in a new world they don’t recognize or know anything about. Their entire life lost to amnesia only left with a name that might not even be theirs. This new world isn’t making things any better for them and things only worsen when the sun sets on the first day. This story is about love, life and identity for Ike and others around them.
I stumbled upon Corvid’s Eye a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with HopeHjort’s art and story. Ike’s journey to uncover who they are is one that many can relate to – minus the magical world and whatnot. The additional side characters also help to round out the story and help Ike along their path. But they aren’t just used to propel them forward. They each grow throughout and it’s hard not to fall in love with them.
Covid’s Eye updates every Saturday and every other Wednesday and can be read here!
The Faylynn Revolution
Within MishR‘s The Faylynn Revolution‘s mysterious forest full of magical creatures lives the young elvish girl named Sierra. Her entire life is turned upside down when the fugitive princess of the Faylynn kingdom appears with a message from Sierra’s missing father. This sends Sierra and her best friend Phoenix on an adventure that will ultimately decide the fate of the forest.
The Faylynn Revolution is packed with everything I love in a fantasy Webtoon. A beautifully built magical world, an epic adventure and a strong female lead. Sign me up! MishR’s art is also gorgeous, which helps to give life to the world they built. As the story continues onward, I find myself drawn to learning more about Sierra and the others, as well as their goal to save the forest.
The Faylynn Revolution does not have a regular update schedule but can be read here!
