These stories have had us captivated chapter after chapter each week and we couldn’t pass up sharing them with you! So grab your favorite snacks, an electronic device and settle into these sensational stories.

AXED
From the minds of Shren Patel and Emi MG comes one of my favorite webtoons, AXED. It follows Alexia, who spent her entire childhood preparing to become a Monster Hunter. She is tough and tenacious and willing to lay her life on the line for the cause! That is until she graduates and learns that the world has declared eternal peace between the monsters and humans. Now she has a useless degree and no other viable job skills! So now she is determined to find the adventure she craves and still making enough to eat!
Talk about spending your life preparing for a job that you’ll never get to do! And that isn’t the only thing you may have in common with Alexia. Most of us have had those moments where we worked a dead-end job just to make sure we had enough cash for food or some semblance of social life. AXED is hysterical in that ‘I know exactly how she feels’ way, except she has monsters and a particular set of skills she will never use.

Little Matcha Girl
Mame‘s Little Matcha Girl is a fantasy webtoon you need to read. The only thing Matilda wants is to become a RuneTube star. She wants to travel the world and share her escapades with her followers and fellow adventurers from around the world. Except Matilda doesn’t have it quite so easy. She just happens to be the granddaughter of a killer mafia boss. But that isn’t all! Necromancy just happens to be one of her family’s traditions! So her plans to be a RubeTube star might just go awry.
Before I even say anything about the story in Little Matcha Girl, I think it’s important to share just how beautiful this webtoon is. Absolutely stunning art style and the way Mame is able to make the scenes flow together makes this one of my top-tier webtoon reads. In addition, the story has a bit of sci-fi, fantasy and witchcraft that help give this world so much depth. Matilda just wants to live out her dreams, but everything, including two troublesome twins, seems to be standing in her way, but she still keeps a somewhat positive attitude!
