Will Linda Hamilton always be a super badass as Sarah Connor? Will the Terminator franchise ever stop creating new astounding ways to make robots terrifying. Evidently the answer is a resounding no. Terminator: Dark Fate just dropped its official trailer on August 29th, the anniversary of Judgement Day because of course they did.
Terminator: Dark Fate doesn’t pick up after the last Terminator movie. It picks up after the events in Terminator 2. Thank you, Time Travel. In the trailer we get to delve deeper into the mystery of the film but we only got bits and pieces. We still don’t entirely know what’s going on but, nevertheless, we are on the edge of our seats. This restraint in sharing what’s going on actually bodes well for the film.

What do we know? Sarah Connor may have stopped judgement day but she didn’t stop humanity’s fate according to Grace, a hybrid human/cybernetic being. Connor and Grace team up to protect a woman, Dani (Natalia Reyes), from the new big bad melty Terminator from the future played by Gabriel Luna. In order to do this, Connor must face her biggest enemy from the past, the OG Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger). What we don’t know is why Dani needs protection or where John Connor (Edward Furlong) is. We know he’s in the film, we just don’t know in what capacity! The anticipation is intense.
