We’ve heard legend that Harrison Ford can be a grumpy fella. And with the intense interview circuit Ford has been doing with Ryan Gosling for Blade Runner 2049, who can blame him. So, it was an absolute joy and hoot to see Ford and Gosling totally lose it in this interview for a British show called This Morning.
Major props to interviewer Alison Hammond for setting the tone. She actually downright steals the show with her magnetic personality. The actors never had a chance. Hammond begins by showing Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling square cocktail glasses much like the ones used in the original Blade Runner.

She thought it would be nice to use the glasses for fans and that attention to detail is important. To which, Gosling naturally asks if she was a fan of the original film. Hammond answers without hesitation, “Never seen it” and laughs infectiously and boom! The interview is immediately off the rails.
Gosling breaks first, and opens a mini-bottle and pours it into the square glass. He eventually gets up to go “help” the camera crew because Hammond and Ford are having such a good time. Ford does end up getting a quite beautiful plug in for the film towards the end but it all descends into laughter again when… Well you should watch it. I don’t want to spoil the magic.
