We’ve got more news regarding Arrow’s fourth season and it involves Rutina Wesley’s role. We reported yesterday that she’d been cast, but we weren’t sure what her actual role would be. Well, now we know.
Yes. Lady Cop.
She doesn’t have too rich of a history with the DC comics, but she is a very strong character who, more or less, took the Batman route of vengeance for her slain loved ones, but instead of a vigilante, she went to the Police Academy and became a damn good cop. She later resurfaced as the Chief of Police in Ivy City and helped out Ryan Choi, who was the Atom at the time.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Liza Warner will star in a multi-episode arc as a member of the anti-vigilante task force that is doing its best to keep the Starling City vigilantism under control.
Arrow returns to the CW for it’s fourth season on October 7th.
