Marvel’s Runaways are facing a new evil with greater power than they’ve ever known.   In “Left-Hand Path,” half of the team is under Morgan le Fay’s (Elizabeth Hurley) spell as Nico (Lyrica Okano) continues to find a way to save Alex (Rhenzy Feliz).

Molly’s (Allegra Acosta) phone is floating in front of her face.  Gert (Ariela Barer) and Chase (Gregg Sulkin) hear voices coming from the phone, but Karolina (Virginia Gardner) can’t hear them.  Chase and Karolina try to get the phone, but that only angers Molly.  She picks up the bed and throws it across the room, trying to block the door.  Molly screams at them to get out and is about to hit Chase. Karolina blasts Molly with her light, snapping her out of the spell. 

The next morning, Nico wakes up with Morgan’s coven. She asks Bronwyn (Scarlett Hefner) about the book that Morgan reads from.  Bronwyn says it’s just Morgan’s spellbook and they all have one.  Nico thinks if she can get the spellbook, she can save Alex.

Robert (James Yaegashi) informs Nico that Morgan had Tina (Brittany Ishibashi) committed to a psychiatric hospital. Nico doesn’t like it and grows angry with Morgan’s influence over her father. Nico knows that Morgan wants the Staff of One.  Morgan says she wants to help Nico control her powers. Nico just wants to find Alex.  Morgan offers to help find Alex if Nico gives her the Staff of One.

Gert, Molly, Chase and Karolina decide to make a video to warn people about the Corvus phones.  Nico comes home and Karolina starts an arguement with her.  Karolina wants to help, but she thinks Nico is going down a dark path that she can’t follow.  Karolina leaves with Gert and Chase. 

Morgan’s people drugged up Tina. She tries to cast a spell to get out, but nothing works.  The nurse is one of Morgan’s girls and she is keeping Tina sedated. Nico attempts to see Tina, but Morgan’s nurse won’t let her.  She uses her connection to the coven to convince the nurse to let her see Tina. 

Nico disconnects Tina’s IV drip and tries to wake her up. Tina is awake and says she just needed to hear Nico say she needed her.  The nurse hears screaming and runs to Tina’s room. Tina pushes back on the door, causing the nurse to fall back into Nico’s fist.

Nico and Tina go to Morgan’s hotel. Tina thinks it’s too dangerous for Nico to go into Morgan’s office alone.  Tina volunteers to go instead. Robert catches Tina entering Morgan’s office. Tina sees the crow necklace around Robert’s neck.  She uses a spell to crack the necklace and Robert snaps out of his spell.

Karolina takes Gert, Chase and Molly to the Church of Gibborim to make their video, but the video immediately disappears.  Even when they try to film it again, the camera doesn’t capture their images.  Morgan saw the video and wiped it from the internet.  She is the new CEO of the biggest internet company…and a witch.  She sent Bronwyn (Scarlett Hefner) and Cassandra (Emily Alabi) to intercept them. 

Geoffrey (Ryan Sands) visits Morgan and she pretends to be genuinely concerned for Alex.  She tells Geoffrey that she knows where Alex is.  Morgan gives him a crow necklace and simply asks that he wears it. In return, she promises to bring Alex home.

At the church, Molly is very uncomfortable around Leslie (Annie Wersching) and Leslie knows it.  Molly reveals that she knows that Leslie caused the explosion that killed her parents.  Molly’s eyes turn yellow and she’s ready to attack Leslie. Leslie feels really guilty about their death, but is ready for whatever punishment Molly gives her.  Molly calms down and let Leslie know that she hates her. 

Janet (Ever Carradine) intercepted the kids video and shows it to Victor (James Marsters) and Stacey (Brigid Brannagh).   They find that there has been an increase in violent behavior in LA since the Corvus phones emerged.  The phones are currently being distributed from Wizard headquarters. Victor wants to put a virus in the technology to stop the distribution.

Morgan returns to the hotel and Nico alerts Tina. Robert decides to continue looking for the book because Morgan will kill Tina if she catches her. When Tina tells Nico that Robert is helping them, Nico gets worried and stalls Morgan.  Morgan’s first observation is that Nico doesn’t have the Staff. She asks to see Alex first. Morgan agrees, but they have to go to her office. Morgan casts a spell revealing Alex in the Dark Dimension. Someone is hurting Alex and that upsets Nico.  Morgan says she needs the staff immediately to help Alex.

Victor and Stacey go to Wizard and run into Geoffrey. They tell him about the kid’s suspicions about the phones. Victor asks Geoffrey to give them ten minutes of unmonitor access to the mainframe. Geoffrey says okay and leads them to a storage room, not the server room.  Geoffrey apologizes and says he can’t let them stop him from distributing the phones. Alex’s life is at stake. Geoffrey locks them in the storage room.

Bodhi (Martin Martinez) finds Molly and tries to cheer her up.  She tells Bodhi that her life is messed up and shows him her powers.  He’s excited that she revealed it to him and asks to see it again.  When Molly tries to leave, Bodhi talks her into staying. He leaves to get something and Molly waits for him. 

Gert, Chase, and Karolina look for Molly. Dale overhears them talking and emerges from his tent.  He leads them around the tent city to look for Molly. At the same time, Bronwyn and Cassandra arrive at the courtyard. 

Robert finds Morgan’s spell book, the Darkhold in a secret room. As soon as he touches the book, Morgan can feel it. She know that Nico is betraying her and leaves to find Robert.  Robert tries to leave with the book, but Morgan stops him. She examines the necklace and knows Tina broke her spell. Robert accuses Morgan of manipulating him and Nico.  

Morgan doesn’t care about Robert. She’s enjoying torturing Tina.  In fact, Morgan is going to enjoy Tina’s agony over Robert’s death. She pulls black smoke from Robert’s body and says she is taking back the life she gave him.  

Nico finds Robert lying on the floor dying. Tina soon joins them.  Robert gives his glasses to Nico and tells her to see the world as he saw it.  He says goodbye to Nico and tells Tina to protect her with her life. Nico is the brightest star in the universe. RIP Robert Minoru.

Morgan takes everyone hostage on Runaways.

Bodhi called Bronwyn and Cassandra. They take the Runaways and Dale and tie them up in the storage room with Stacey and Victor. Karolina tries to use her powers, but the room is enchanted.  

Nico returns to an empty hostel. She lights a candle and says a prayer for her father.  When she sets Robert’s glasses on the table, it projects a video on the wall.  Robert used the Wiz Glasses to record what he saw in the DarkHold.  It’s a spell to open another realm.  

Nico goes the foyer of the hostel with the Staff of One. She repeats the spell from the Darkhold. Darkness surrounds her and two faces appear on the top of the stairs. It’s Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) and Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt), Cloak and Dagger. They want to know who Nico is and what has she done.
