This falls staunchly into the category of taking it with a grain of salt, but Latino Review is reporting that Asa Butterfield has been cast as the new Peter Parker/Spider-Man. There is no confirmation from Marvel, Sony or anyone else at this time, but according to the site, “(Asa’s) reps and Marvel are under negotiations. It’s all about formalities now and then an official announcement from Marvel will follow shortly.”
The site also goes on to confirm suspicions that Spider-Man will make his debut in Captain America: Civil War next year.
Fingers crossed we get confirmation on this rumor soon!
