A hot new rumor out of our friends at Heroic Hollywood is placing breakout star of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Rebecca Ferguson, squarely in Marvel’s sites to take on the highly-anticipated role of Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel.
There is no confirmation from the studio if they’re looking at her, let alone that she’s already got the part, but El Mayimbe certainly has a lot of eyes and ears in these offices, so it’s an entirely plausible rumor.
As El Mayimbe notes in his article, Marvel loves to go after the hottest while their hot and after her performance in Mission Impossible she’s got a lot of heat on her.
