Yes. You read that headline correctly.
The good men and women at Latino Review threw that rumor out today, making the claim that Chris Pine will actually play Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern. Apparently, the WB was pulling the wool over our eyes with the rumor that he was playing Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman.
However, they then go on to say that they believe Tyrese, hot off his Furious 7 success, has been cast as John Stewart, another Green Lantern.
The plan is apparently for DC/WB to unveil their full Justice League cast at San Diego Comic Con in just a couple short weeks, so we won’t have to wait very long to see if this rumor turns out to be true.
This, of course, begs the question — will we see other human Green Lanterns hit the screen when the movie comes out in 2020? Will Guy Gardner enter into the fray, or Kyle Rayner?
