Roots of the Heart
Romance is in the air again, and we are kicking this week off with Mewmimiu‘s Roots of the Heart. The romance WEBTOON follows the fresh 18-year-old William, who is ready to finally live his life as an adult. That is until his family moves to the country and puts the breaks on all his big plans. Now, he has to decide what comes next and if he will let new relationships into his life.
This week’s series are new to WEBTOON but caught our eyes immediately. Roots of the Heart is a young adult romance WEBTOON that mixes family drama, young romance and coming-of-age. At first, William is hard to like, but we can emphasize his feelings about being uprooted. We have hope that as the story continues, he will find his way, and everything will work out.

Letters on the Wall
Our second romance WEBTOON this week is Jaelyngs and MissBlackClover‘s Letters on the Wall. This series follows Tara as she returns home after spending five years abroad in Spain. It’s a rough discovery to learn that everyone she left behind has moved on with their lives, and she seems to be the one left behind. As she rekindles her friendship (and possibly more) with childhood friend Emma, she must decide why she returned home.
Letters on the Wall is a teen romance WEBTOON and a great place to start for new readers of WEBTOON and/or romance. It’s heartwarming and, like our other choice for this week, also introduces themes like coming-of-age and finding yourself. It has quite a few chapters under its belt, but readers jumping into the series now won’t feel overwhelmed trying to catch up.
