Last year, I celebrated Valentine’s Day with 10 romance genre WEBTOON series that I thought everyone should be reading. And I’m back to share 10 more! Each falls into the romance category one way or another but features unique stories that mesh with other genres like supernatural, action, fantasy, and even sports. I equate these to a warm blanket on a cold day. But like almost every romance story, they feature drama, suspense and even some mystery. Lovely Hell
First on our list is Titasupp‘s fantasy romance, Lovely Hell! It follows Tanz, a powerful creature of pure evil who finds herself banished to Earth against her own will. We get it; Earth is every demon’s timeout zone. She finds herself weak and without a plan and nearly sets the woods on fire in a fit of rage. It’s here that she meets Cain, a firefighter and good-hearted guy just looking to help. He serves as Tanz’s human guide on Earth, all in hopes of finding a way for her to make it back home to Hell. But, after spending all her time with Cain, will Tanz want to go home?

Blades of Furry
We’ve talked about Deya Muniz and Emily Erdos‘ romance series Blades of Furry on Saturday Morning Webtoons before, but we NEEDED to include it here. The sports romance follows Emile, an up-and-coming Skate Battle competitor. He thinks everything is going great until he learns he has to face Radu, a senior skater and several-time champ. During the match, Emile discovers Radu’s secret and now he has to decide to either keep it or use it against him. It’s safe to say, though, Emile’s feelings for Radu might sway his choice quite a bit.

Of Swamp & Sea
Okay, I think you guys know by now that I absolutely love Mia Jay Boulton and Laurel Boulton‘s Of Swamp & Sea. This supernatural romance follows Jonah and Mercy after a monster hunt goes wrong. This new path has them facing more than just dangerous beasts, dark magic and hazardous circumstances. Our grumpy monster hunter and bubbly sunshine are on a road that seems to be taking their relationship out of the professional zone. But can they trust each other and themselves to let it happen?

The Prince of Southland
Our next romantic WEBTOON series is Chris Geroux‘s The Prince of Southland. The story follows Donnie Ali, whose reputation has gone down the drain after one drunken kiss with an android. In this world, relationships with androids are deemed dangerous and forbidden. Thankfully, Donnie’s dad manages to smooth things over, but only for Donnie to find himself thrown into another scandal after he saves Jensen from an unknown assailant. Now the two live under the same roof, but this romance could be even more disastrous than the first.

Midnight Poppy Land
We can’t talk romance without gushing over Lilydusk‘s Midnight Poppy Land. After a bad breakup, countryside small-town girl Poppy moves to the big city for a restart. What she didn’t expect was to become friends with a young Mafia lord and his intimidating bodyguard. As Poppy finds herself being drawn to Tora, she finds herself stepping deeper into the dangerous underworld that resides just below the city’s surface. Will Tora be able to keep her safe? Or will Poppy find herself in over her head?

Blood-Ink
Even action WEBTOONs can have romance in them, including Lupicut‘s Blood-Ink. The story takes place in the Republic of Terragua, where being an assassin is not only legal but can make someone an absolute killing. Get it? Anyway, the story follows Maya, a licensed assassin who finds herself working alongside Rama after losing her whole family. But Rama has some secrets of his own that include working as an unlicensed assassin with a thirst for vengeance. This series is a perfect mix of action and romance that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Are you looking for more of a slice-of-life romantic WEBTOON series? You can’t go wrong with refrainbow‘s Boyfriends. This series tells the story of getting yourself a boyfriend – or multiple boyfriends! It navigates the life of four college students after they begin a polyamorous relationship. Each boyfriend has a mind and personality of their own that you just can’t help but fall in love with. Get ready to swoon over the adorable one-liners, blush over romance and fall head over heels with every one of these guys!

Fantasy romance has a special place in my heart and that is where Purpah‘s Suitor Armor lives. It follows Lucia, a lady-in-waiting who thinks getting through the royal wedding will be the hardest thing in her life. That is until she falls head over heels with an up-and-coming knight named Modeus. But Modeus isn’t just any knight. He is an enchanted suit of armor without a soul. Sometimes a simple romance with a little bit of drama is the perfect remedy for a long day. This is why I rebinge Ingrid Ochoa‘s The Kiss Bet at least once a month. Sara Lin seems to have it all. She just turned 18, is in her senior year, has great friends and a cool dad. There is just one thing she has been missing – her first kiss. And it’s been weighing on her mind heavily ever since her best friend challenged her to a bet that could either lead to love, heartbreak or never-ending embarrassment. The final romantic WEBTOON series on this year’s list is a relatively new one that struck such a chord with me I had to include it. And this series is mintibi‘s Be My Villain. The story follows Mills, an average high school senior with two super-agent dads who take down highly dangerous criminals. Super average here. However, during an attack on the city, their arch-nemesis Shadowmaker ends up saving Mills’s life! But things only get more awkward when Shadowmaker then decides to ask Mills out on a date! It is currently a few episodes in and the perfect time to get hooked!
