The Robinsons have found danger again after narrowly escaping with their lives at the end of the first season of Netflix’s Lost in Space. Their main problem in season two? Finding their Robot, oh, and staying alive.

The final trailer is action packed and actually quite nail-biting. Plus, Parker Posey is still doing the most Parker Posey’ish over the top job with her character Dr Smith, which is a delightful blast.

In the final Lost in Space trailer, we see the Robinsons as they’ve turned their ship in to a sail ship? space boat? sail space boat? and almost fall to their deaths in a waterfall as Iggy Pop’s I Am a Passenger plays which is pretty cool. I say almost fall to their deaths, because the show would be over if they didn’t survive. We also see them looking for their Robot and finding dangerous aliens and other robots in the process. And as for the Robot, he needs the Robinson’s help.

The first season of Lost in Space was a very fun surprise and it looks like season two is heading in that direction also. Check out the trailer.

There’s more danger — and adventure — ahead for the Robinson family! With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot, the Robinsons must work together, alongside the mischievous and manipulative Dr. Smith and the always charming Don West, to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists. But they quickly find all is not as it seems. A series of incredible new threats and unexpected discoveries emerge as they look for the key to finding Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri. They will stop at nothing to keep their family safe… survival is a Robinson specialty after all.

The second season of Lost in Space drops Christmas Eve, December 24th.
