If you were expecting a live version of Teen Titans Go! think again. The first trailer for DC’s Titans is here and it’s dark! Titans is one of the first scripted shows for the DC Universe streaming channel. The trailer is rated TV-MA, featuring a more intense show with some very adult themes, unlike it’s animated counterpart.
Dick Grayson aka Robin (Brenton Thwaites) hasn’t always been the most feared superhero of all time. He mostly known as the happy go lucky side kick of Batman. But, come on…living in Batman’s shadow must take a toll on your ego. And Robin is making it clear that he’s not Batman. It appears though, that Robin is trying to make a name for himself as a solo vigilante as he takes on several street thugs in a major fight. Just a heads up…Robin uses some very colorful language to let the thugs know how he really feels about Batman.

The trailer begins with Raven (Teagan Croft) asking Dick Grayson for help. She has something dark inside of her that scares her. And at the same time, makes her feel normal. There is a glimpse of Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) and Starfire (Anna Diop), but not much on how they fit into the story.
I’m super excited. Yes, I am a fan of the cartoon, but the live action series look SO SICK! I’m particularly interested in how they bring Starfire to life. She is very unique to the story and from what I can see of the trailer, DC delivers on making her extraordinary!
