Netflix’s Arcane Season 2
Is it possible to overhype a premiere? When it’s as highly anticipated as Arcane Season 2, probably not. Still, Riot Games is giving it the college try, promoting it on every front and platform available.

Touted as Netflix’s most successful animated series ever, Arcane Season 1 manifested the hopes of millions of League of Legends players worldwide while engaging an entirely new fanbase with its wholly new animation style and rich narrative. When it was announced that Season 2 would also be the final season, it pinned expectations at nearly unattainable heights.

Arcane in Every Iteration
Arcane‘s O.G. source material originates in League of Legends, so clearly, that is going to be the platform that parties the hardest for the Season 2 drop. To begin with, players will experience Jinx’s (Ella Purnell) Arcane in-game story in the Exalted tier skin. Also, the Bridge of Progress will be playable in ARAM game mode. Then there’s a Brawler Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) skin and a Jinx-themed Nexus Finisher. The tragedy of the sisters’ story will never be more epic.
Mel’s mother, Ambessa Medarda (Ellen Thomas), arrived in Piltover in Season 1 just in time to cramp Mel’s (Toks Olagundoye) style and witness the Council chamber’s destruction. The trailers have pointed to Ambessa leading the charge to avenge Jinx’s attack. The Noxian general will join the game side of the ‘verse, featuring in all the platforms except VALORANT.

Teamfight Tactics plans to roll out their Arcane Season 2 elements in a more gradual manner. Set 13 drops on November 20, three days before the final Act of Season 2 debuts. It promises multiple exclusive Arcane champions — most notably, Powder (Mia Sinclaid Jenness), new Tacticians like Chibi Caitlyn (Katie Leung), as well as Arcane-inspired Arenas, mechanics, and traits. In the first patch of the set, the Tocker’s Trials PvE game mode will return and more Arcane-related cosmetics will be announced later this year.

Fan favorite Warwick — heavily rumored to be a Shimmer-resurrected Vander — joins Ambessa in Legends of Runeterra‘s Path of Champions. He and Singed (Brett Tucker) also get updates in League of Legends: Wild Rift, where Heimerdinger (Mick Wingert) recently made his first appearance. VALORANT has kept the details of its forthcoming Arcane-themed bundle under wraps so far.

Everything’s Coming Up Jinx
Arcane Season 2 is even being celebrated by Riot Games products that haven’t launched yet. Their newest 2×2 fighting game, 2XKO, launches in 2025, but on November 11, it’ll release an updated look at Jinx, one of the League of Legends champions playable in the game.
Clothing labels Uniqlo and BlackMilk plan to launch Arcane-inspired fashion in early November to coincide with the Season 2 premiere. While BlackMilk’s line will cater to the Piltover elite, you can take a peek at Uniqlo’s Arcane graphic tee selection already.

Meanwhile, Fenty Beauty is the face of Arcane in the make-up world, presenting their “gamer-inspired” collection; Tokidoki will offer their take on Arcane‘s style of cute; and Funko will beat them all to the punch, releasing their Arcane: League of Legends figurines for pre-order.
The final trailer for Arcane Season 2 is a montage of both past and present, hinting at the conflict between Piltover and Zaun, which we’ll watch unfold in November. It features the second single from the Season 2 soundtrack, “Come Play,” by Stray Kids, Young Miko, and Tom Morello.
The second season of Arcane debuts on Netflix on November 9 and will be available in three distinct acts. Act One begins on November 9, Act Two on November 16 and Act Three — the final act of the series — on November 23. Until then, relive the awesomeness of Arcane Season 1, streaming on Netflix.
