Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City

We are only a few weeks away from Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City‘s release date! And to help shock, surprise and provide plenty of nightmares, Sony Pictures Entertainment has provided us with another look! The “Nightmare Trailer” is packed from beginning to end with franchise-worthy jumpscares and significant freakout moments for you to enjoy. It is becoming pretty clear that Johannes Roberts understood this assignment.

The new trailer for Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is like a spin on the hardest difficulty that can be found within the games. It even has the same name! So, of course, this means that there are more monsters, scares and more on the line this time around. And it kicks off with some terrifying dolls and creepy kids right out the gate! I won’t spoil all the fun, scary moments. Know that when Chris Redfield (Robbie Amell) tells you to hide, you had better hop to it.

There isn’t too much more information provided as far as the story plot goes in this new trailer. It is just some iteration from Claire (Kaya Scodelario) that The Umbrella Corp has been experimenting on the people here forever and it’s time to put an end to them. Someone should really tell her that the organization is like a bad cold that just keeps coming back. But, I have faith if Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City does well, we will be seeing a lot more of the Redfield’s battle against Umbrella.

Amell and Scodelario are joined by Avan Jogia (Leon S. Kennedy), Hannah John-Kamen (Jill Valentine), Donal Logue (Chief Irons), Tom Hopper (Albert Wesker), Lily Gao (Ada Wong), Nathan Dales (Brad Vickers), Neal McDonough (William Birkin), Janet Porter (Annette Birkin) and Holly de Barros (Sherry Birkin).

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City drops into theaters on November 24, 2021. We’ve shared the new trailer below for your enjoyment! Keep an eye on their official site for when you can preorder your tickets! What are you most excited about? Let us know in the comments below and on social media!
