Highlights:

Beam This Up
He puts the “F.U.” in “U.F.O.” Yes, I’m talking about none other than Harry Vanderspeigle, Patience’s finest doctor. On Wednesday, SYFY unleashed the official trailer for Resident Alien Season 3. Based on said trailer, we’re in for a wild, cosmically hilarious ride.
Here’s a synopsis for Season 3 per SYFY:
“In Season 3, Harry (Alan Tudyk) is vowing to work with General McCallister (Linda Hamilton) to rid the Earth of the Grey aliens – a task made more difficult when he discovers that the Grey Hybrid Joseph (Enver Gjokaj) has taken a job in town as the new Deputy. Joseph isn’t Harry’s only obstacle – Harry struggles to balance business and his personal life when he falls in love for the first time.
Meanwhile, Asta (Sara Tomko) and D’arcy (Alice Wetterlund) move in together and struggle to discover their purpose in the world; Sheriff Mike (Corey Reynolds) and Deputy Liv (Elizabeth Bowen) continue their quest to find out who killed the Alien Tracker, and Ben (Levi Fiehler) and Kate (Meredith Garretson) are forced to deal with the subconscious repercussions of their alien abductions.”

If you recall, Season 2 culminated in Harry letting his alien baby, Bridget, leave Earth while he remained behind. He also vowed to protect the planet from the alien/human hybrid invasion. Then, Asta took the next step in forming a relationship with her daughter, Jay (Kaylayla Raine). Ben was abducted by The Greys, as was he and Kate’s baby. And fun was had by all.
New Additions to the Cast
We’ve got quite the stacked cast this go-round. Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones) will guest star in Season 3. My guess is she’s playing the alien-like bird creature who informs Harry that he’s in big trouble. It sounds like her voice. Could she also be his love interest?
Secondly, we have the return of the badass Linda Hamilton and the enigmatic Enver Gjokaj. Then, of course, no season of Resident Alien is complete without the delightful Gary Farmer. (If Gracelyn Awad Rinke, aka Sahar, isn’t in this season, we riot.)

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait much longer for Season 3. The eight-episode installment will debut on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 10 pm on SYFY and USA, with next-day streaming on Peacock. SYFY will run a Season 2 marathon preceding the premiere on Sunday, February 11, from 1 pm to 5 am. That sounds like the perfect time to bust out the day-old pizza.
