The Reservation Dogs are coming back … at least, they’re coming back to FX on Hulu. FX announced the premiere date for season three of the critically acclaimed series for later this summer. And after that season two finale, I have to wonder if they will actually come back to the rez.

Season one introduced the world to Bear (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai), Elora Danan (Devery Jacobs), Willie Jack (Paulina Alexis) and Cheese (Lane Factor), courtesy of  Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi. The show is loosely based on Harjo and Waititi’s childhood adventures. From the start the four teens had plans to go to California, after losing their close friend Daniel (Dalton Cramer) to suicide. Their plans fell apart, as did their friendships. In season two, they realized the only way to fix things was to actually go to California, ending the season with a very cathartic episode. One so enlightening for Bear, that he vowed not to return to Oklahoma.

So what will happen in season three? IDK. Who’s coming back? IDK. There is no official synopsis, nothing about any returns or departures. So I have assume that everyone is returning for the next season. At least the official poster features the four stars of the show (see below). For now we will just wait for more news, trailers, and teasers to come.
