We finally have the season two trailer for  Reservation Dogs. A-ho FX on Hulu! The highly acclaimed series from  Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi returns in just a month’s time. And this time, there’s a lot going on. 

First of all, we need to recap a bit. The rugged foursome, Bear (D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai), Elora Danan (Devery Jacobs), Willie Jack (Paulina Alexis), and Cheese (Lane Factor) had plans to run away to California after tragically losing their friend Daniel (Dalton Cramer) to suicide. Things didn’t go quite as planned. Willie Jack and Cheese decided to stay home. Bear and Elora got into a big fight before the designated time to leave. With his bags in tow, Bear waited on the curb for Elora to pick him up, only to be left behind. Elora Danan left town, but she left with gang rival Jackie (Elva Guerra).

So now the question is, will Elora and Jackie make it to Cali? What will Bear do now that he’s staying home? The trailer gives us a glimpse into those answers. It appears Elora and Jackie run into some trouble along the way. And Bear has to make do and get a job. While Willie Jack and Cheese seem to be making amends with the NDN Mafia. Jana Schmieding is back as a guest star this season as the IHS receptionist. She suggests maybe Willie Jack cursed the group. She did give that guy at the bar a bag of hair. Don’t ever mess with bad medicine

Speaking of Jana, she goes on a girl’s trip with Bear’s mom, Rita (Sarah Podemski). That looks like a fun time. Willie Jack gets grilled about not having a boyfriend or a girlfriend. She can’t be tamed. And the Spirit, William Knifeman (Dallas Goldtooth) is back to pray for the young ones and their guilt. What guilt? And will Elora Danan go home? I guess we’ll find out when Reservation Dogs returns. 

Reservation Dogs also stars Zahn McClarnon and Jon Proudstar with guest stars Gary Farmer, and Wes Studi. Watch the trailer and poster below.

Reservation Dogs Season 2 will premiere on Hulu on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 with the first two episodes.  New episodes will then release every Wednesday after. You can watch season one on Hulu.
