Elora and Jackie run into the woods to get away from the truck that is chasing them. They run through some hay bales to lose the truck. The men in the trucks chase the girls through the bales, but eventually they drive off.
Willie Jack asks the remaining members of the NDN Mafia if they have any of Jackie’s personal items. At first they say they don’t have anything. Then Willie Jack tells them about the curse. White Steve (Jack Maricle) knew something was going down.
White Steve says bad things have been happening to all of them. He says his car randomly caught on fire. Bone Thug Dog (Jude Barnett) got shot with a Little People arrow. Weeze (Xavier Bigpond) says me-maw died, then he falls off the roof. They give her Jackie’s bandana, a joint, and Jackie’s eyeliner.

Uncle Brownie and Cheese (Lane Factor) drive up and the showdown begins. The showdown between Bucky and Brownie. The last time they saw each other, Bucky knocked out Brownie’s teeth. Brownie says he just knocked out Bucky. They both agree that they have to go to the river to break the curse.
Mekko (Funny Bone) and Mose (Lil Mike) catch up with Bear. He’s still sad. Bear asks if they know of anyone that is hiring. The duo is hiring a graphic designer, but they can’t pay anyone.
Jackie and Elora find a house that has chickens. They decide to wait until dark to steal eggs. The girls lay on the ground and see an eagle. Elora dreams of Daniel (Dalton Cramer). He’s not happy with her.
A woman named Anna (Megan Mullally) drives up in a cart to check on the girls. She invites them to her house for food. They accept her invitation. She also lets them take showers and wash their clothes.
Anna lives alone. Her husband recently divorced her and her kids are in college. She notices the girls are runaways and envies their courage. When dinner is ready, Anna makes them pray before they eat. The girls settle in for the night. Jackie takes one look at her room and leaves. She goes to Elora’s room and finds her crying in bed. Jackie decides to leave her alone and go to sleep.
Jackie gets up at 4 AM and almost leaves without Elora. Elora is still asleep and dreams about Daniel again. He asks why she didn’t take him to California. She dreams about finding Daniel again. Then he turns into Bear who asks the same question. Jackie wakes her up and they leave together in Anna’s truck. The next morning, Elora asks if Jackie feels bad. Everyone just tried to help them. Jackie doesn’t feel bad about anything.

Brownie and Bucky go to the river with Willie Jack and Cheese the next morning. Brownie says they have to start with a prayer. He prays for the kids and that they learned their lesson. Then he prays that people understand that he thought his friend and their girlfriend were broken up when they slept together. Bucky takes over and prays that the creator helps people understand that they shouldn’t sleep with anyone’s girlfriend even if they are broken up because they might get back together. Brownie takes over again and prays that the creator understands that he’s a flawed man and he apologizes. Bucky then thanks the creator for giving him the ability to forgive. Aho! Amen!
Brownie says they have to sing a song. Bucky says it has to be an old song. They lay the bandana with Jackie’s things in the water and start singing “Free Fallen” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Spirit (Dallas Goldtooth) rides up to the river and hears them singing. He joins in. A gust of wind blows through as they slow down the song. Cheese stops them to let them know that the song is not that old.
Spirit calls out to Brownie saying the ceremony is complete. They vanquished the curse. But the effects of it will linger until they deal with the guilt inside. Spirit says the kids need to give back to the community and become better people. Brownie tells everyone that the curse is gone, but the kids have to stop being s**ta**es. Basically the same thing.
Bear ends up at Rob and Cleo’s for catfish. He says they should hire him. Rob (Macon Blair) says Cheese has stolen too much candy. In fact, Bear should volunteer to pay for everything the gang has stolen. The chip truck driver, Miles (Rhomeyn Johnson) comes in with a delivery and sits next to Bear. Bear shuts down, unable to look at the driver.

Rob, Cleo (Darryl W. Handy) and Miles all start laughing. They know it was Bear and his friends that stole the truck. They have security video. Miles tells Bear that they don’t need more young folk in jail. It’s easy to tear things down, and a lot harder to build them up. He tells him to build things. Miles tells Bear to help him unload the truck for not turning them in and Bear jumps at the opportunity.
Jackie takes Elora to her mom’s place in the city. They are there long enough for Jackie to ask for gas money. Jackie’s mom gives her a $20 and drops a $20. Jackie picks it up and they leave. Her mom tells her to give Okern a chance because she needs it. Before they actually leave, Jackie asks her friends if they have a chain to pull a car.
The curse is over. Bear helps unload the truck. Jackie and Elora go back to where they ditched Elora’s car and hook it up to the truck. Willie Jack finishes telling Daniel the story. She wishes he was there to help straighten things out.
