The latest trailer for Remothered: Broken Porcelain helps catch us up on the story so far. Be mindful that this trailer has MAJOR spoilers for Remothered: Tormented Fathers. If you wish to catch up on that game before jumping into the next, I would suggest skipping over this trailer. To avoid giving away major spoilers, I am going leave that part out of this trailer summary. Remothered: Broken Porcelain from Stormind Games, Darril Arts and Modus Games continues Rosemary’s mission to solve the mystery behind Celeste Felton’s disappearance.

The first part of the Remothered: Broken Porcelain trailer focuses on the story from the first game. Once they have cleanly tied up that portion, it jumps into the past to tell Jennifer’s story. This can be found at minute 3:03. Jennifer has arrived at the Ashman Inn as a housekeeper after being expelled by the all-girls school she was at. She makes friends with two other girls at the inn, Lindsay and Eliza. Jennifer’s friendship with the two girls is what makes their time at the inn bearable.

However, in Remothered: Broken Porcelain, things are not what they seem to appear. Jennifer realizes that some horrible mystery is hiding within the halls of the inn. She comes face to face with the terrifying being known as “The Porcelain,” as well as the Red Nun. But these are not the only things Jennifer needs to wary of. The residents seem to be under the control of someone or something. Whenever they hear the tick of a metronome, they turn against Jennifer and attempt to kill her, no matter what.

This is where Jennifer’s ability to hide and fight come into play. She will need to escape the murderous residents in order to continue her search into what is truly going on. The Remothered: Broken Porcelain trailer then skips again to present day as Rosemary arrives at the Ashman Inn to meet with its owner. She is still set on finding out the truth and hopes that the inn holds some answers. But will she be able to find them? Will Jennifer be able to escape the terrors of the Ashman Inn? Those are the real questions.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain will stalk it’s way onto PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 13, 2020.
