Still of cast in Killing Eve

The Killing Eve treats just keep coming! The official Twitter account for the BBC America series dropped a tasty morsel in the form of a fourth Season 3 teaser. Now, the first three were dedicated to Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), Villanelle (Jodie Comer), and the pair together. This latest snippet showcases the elusive puppeteers Carolyn Martens (Fiona Shaw) and Konstantin (Kim Bodnia).

Of course, the aforementioned clip has Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5” playing in the background, because classical music is about as dramatic as you can get. Beethoven’s score is ripe for a boisterous, larger-than-life thriller like Killing Eve

Now, we see intermingling shots of Carolyn and Konstantin looking somewhat intimidating while Beethoven’s music punctuates their movements. Then, there’s a brief moment wherein Carolyn, Eve, and Villanelle are shown together. We see Eve and Villanelle are sporting their crimson dresses. Meanwhile, Carolyn is donning a sheer black frock. She clearly signifies the puppet master and she’s ensuring that they adhere to her narrative. In addition, it could be indicative of Eve’s conflicted interests – her loyalty to MI6 with Carolyn (black) and her burgeoning connection to Villanelle (red). Regardless, my excitement for Season 3 is at an all-time high.

Check out the teaser below, folks! Be sure to mosey on back to Geek Girl Authority for all your Killing Eve needs.

Killing Eve Season 3 premieres Sunday April 26th at 10pm on your BBC America affiliate.
