The Flash returns from a short Olympic break as Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash continue their search for the new metahumans. Let’s catch up…
Barry was trapped in the speed force and the Team had to rescue him. A samuroid threatened to destroy Central City if the Flash didn’t show up. When the Flash escaped the speed force, a blast of dark matter hit a metro bus and the 12 passengers emerged with meta powers. A man named Clifford DeVoe (Neil Sandilands) was interested in the 12 new meta humans and spied on Team Flash as they discovered them one by one.
Barry and Iris (Candice Patton) got married and then Barry was framed for DeVoe’s murder. He went to jail, was discovered to be the Flash, and was set up to be sold on the meta black market. Barry and 4 of the 12 “bus metas” were with him. DeVoe, in a new body, showed up before they could be sold. He killed all of the bus metas and absorbed their powers. Now he has taken over the body of Becky Sharp, aka Hazard (Sugar Lyn Beard). Barry and Team Flash must find the remaining bus metas before DeVoe does. And they also must protect new team member and bus meta Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer), aka the Elongated Man.

Also…Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) tried to get rid of Killer Frost by taking a drug that was only available on the black market. As payment, she served under Amunet Black (Katee Sackhoff) aka the Blacksmith. Caitlin left Amunet to help save Barry from the Speed Force. She decided to stay and felt she had Killer Frost under control. However, Amunet wants Caitlin back. The team has been able to keep Caitlin safe for now, but Amunet is still on the loose.
In the next episode, Barry and Ralph find the next bus meta, Izzy (Miranda MacDougall), aka The Fiddler. Izzy is a country artist with a special musical gift. Barry and Ralph offer her protection, but she rejects them. Will they be able to save her before the Thinker can find her?

Barry meets a powerful woman whose abilities could help him in his battle with DeVoe. Meanwhile, after learning that DeVoe is targeting everyone who was on the bus, Ralph decides he doesn’t want to be a hero anymore, his only concern is staying alive. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) offers to help Joe (Jesse L. Martin).
