Welcome back, Sestras and Brother Sestras! Last night’s Orphan Black hit all the right notes (or cells? I’ll think of something science-y). We discovered more backstory regarding PT Westmorland, Susan Duncan and, unexpectedly, Virginia Coady. Remember the former leader of Castor? Well, our Susan had her sequestered away in a mental hospital. Her goal? Make sure that PT thinks Coady is dead. Susan and Coady were always at odds due to their scientific approaches: Susan is more calculated and pragmatic, whereas Coady is crude and off-the-cuff.

Then, we met Neolution’s very first cloning specimen last night, who turned out to be the creature wreaking havoc in the the woods outside Revival. This specimen in question suffered several physical deformities, tumors, ruptures, you name it, due to Coady’s insistence at continuing to run tests. Lesson learned, kids. Don’t try to come between Coady and her science.

Meanwhile, Mrs. S and Sarah went undercover to gain access to Coady, so they could learn more about PT in their efforts to save Kira from Dyad. More specifically, Rachel. Sarah discovered that Kira began testing on herself in her quest to find out more about her anomaly. Sarah went into mother mode and will now stop at nothing to keep her daughter safe.

Later, we witnessed the triumphant return of Adele, Felix’s biological sister. She told him that Mrs. S taught her everything Clone Club, so she’s up to speed. Adele was disbarred from her law practice, but her real job is embezzling money. She also revealed that Mrs. S has a job for them – a trip to Switzerland to investigate various hedge funds that belong to PT Westmorland. Swiss vacation time!

Now, my favorite moment from last night’s episode has to be the Helena/Sarah reunion. Even though Tatiana Maslany portrays all the Leda clones, she seems to have the best chemistry with herself as Helena and Sarah. She is so unbelievably brilliant. Anyway, Sarah broke down and apologized for brushing off Helena for so long. They need that sestra-ly love connection now more than ever.

Alright, Clone Club! I’ve got a juicy little surprise for you! A promo for next week’s Orphan Black, titled “Ease For Idle Millionaires.” This should hopefully tide you over till Saturday!

Now, the promo opens with Rachel (Tatiana Maslany) putting Susan Duncan (Rosemary Dunsmore) in her place. She reminds her mother that PT Westmorland placed her in charge. Uh oh. “Power-tripping Rachel” happens to be my favorite Rachel. Meanwhile, Cosima and Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) are falling apart, as the former accuses the latter of lying. No! Leave my Cophine alone! We also know from this clip that Neolution is putting the pedal to the metal on their research of Kira. The promo ends with PT Westmorland (Stephen McHattie) questioning Delphine about Cosima, with the latter replying “What do you need to know?” Oh boy.

Watch the promo below, Sestras! Savor it until we meet again next Saturday, which is six whole days away. So close, and yet so far.

Orphan Black continues The Final Trip Saturdays at 10pm on your BBC America affiliate.
