Welcome to this week’s installment of F2P Friday, where we highlight our favorite Free-2-Play games. The video game market is oversaturated, and sometimes, hidden gems fall through the cracks. This is where we dig for you and feature a new F2P game we know you will enjoy every week. Let’s dive in.

Pyun Pyun Heart Throbbing Endless Love Bakery

You opened your bakery in Woodstown, an odd little town, hoping to find success. Unfortunately for you, there was already a successful bakery nearby that left you with a puny pool of regular customers. Throughout your struggles to stay afloat in the new life you’ve built, you meet reoccurring customers, face the thrill of potential romance and get wrapped up in a heart-pounding mystery.

The Basics

Let’s get down to the basics. Pyun Pyun Heart Throbbing Endless Love Bakery is a point-and-click visual novel, romance or befriend four lovable characters as you uncover the mysteries of the town you’ve moved into. Interact with the townsfolk on your days off and explore the same town from Bonnie’s Bakery in this exciting spin-off.

The gameplay is easy to master with a point-and-click setup for all the dialog choices that progress the plot. Outside of the conversations, you’ll use your phone to interact with your love interests and play fun mini-games to earn more affection.

Why Should I Play?

So why should you play Pyun Pyun Heart Throbbing Endless Love Bakery? The sweet, heartfelt story and gameplay disguise the underlying tone that something is a little off in town. You can pick your pronouns at the start of the game and romance whoever strikes your fancy. The art is cute with bright colors and a bouncy animation style. The full game is being backed right now on Kickstarter so if you love the demo you can back the full project there. Because only the demo is currently available, the playtime is about 30 minutes with unlimited replays.

You can play the demo for free on Itch.io in the browser but to play the full game you’ll want to back the project from Melty Clown Studio on Kickstarter before July 14, 2024.
