Oh man! What an episode of Gotham! Right!?
Not only did we get to see the DC villain, Firefly, but it was a gender-swapped version of the character, AND she kicked ass!
But wait, you thought Gotham was done with that? Oh no. Tonight’s episode also gave us our first look into the mythology surrounding the city’s founding, the Five Families that founded Gotham (Waynes, Kanes, Elliots, Crowns and Dumas) plus possible allusions to The Court of Owls and the Order of St. Dumas, who brings us Azrael and his team of assassins!
Next week’s episode, by way of this promo for it, looks like it will really start to develop the Selina Kyle story more directly, and how she got to be the anti-hero Catwoman.
After Bridgit Pike (guest star Michelle Veintimilla) rejoins her brothers, a new spark of courage ignites within her, as she chooses to take control of her future. Meanwhile, Kringle and Nygma’s relationship will take a new step and Penguin and Galavan continue to battle for control of Gotham City’s underworld in the all-new “Rise of the Villains: By Fire” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, October 26th on FOX.
