We learned last week that this new film will encompass the Dream arc written by creator Naoko Takeuchi. We’ll see our scouts embrace new abilities while taking on the Dead Moon Circus. In addition, we’ll bear witness to the burgeoning love between Chibi-Usa and Helios.

Never in my life did I imagine we’d be experiencing a Sailor Moon renaissance. I’m here for it! Netflix acquiring the rights to Takeuchi’s work feels natural. Organic, even. The streaming juggernaut is looking to expand its anime roster, so this feels like a necessary step in the right direction. Takanashi’s score already sounds stunning. I’m stoked!
