That’s the day that Preacher, the highly-anticipated series from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg that’s based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s critically-acclaimed/fan-favorite comic book, will finally make it’s premiere. AMC announced the news at SXSW just today. It will immediately follow Fear the Walking Dead’s midseason finale.

But wait, good news for anyone who misses it, as reported by Variety, they are already planning an encore presentation will air on May 29th. The 10-episode series will then pick back up on Sunday June 5th, with Sunday at 9:00 pm ET it’s regular time.

The series show runner is Sam Catlin from Breaking Bad and stars Dominic Cooper as the Preacher, Jesse Custer, with Ruth Negga as his ex-girlfriend Tulip and Joseph Gilgun as his Irish vampire best friend, Cassidy.
